Services

Temple Beth Israel has services every other Friday night (Erev Shabbat) and once a month on the morning of Shabbat.

Rabbi Frank Joseph conducts services approximately every third or fourth Friday night and Shabbat morning of every month, plus certain Holidays.  Here is the Rabbi’s schedule for 2016-2017 (Jewish year 5777).  Services begin at 7:30 Friday Night and 9:00 on Shabbat morning, unless otherwise indicated. Rabbi Joseph also conducts Shacharit (morning) prayers on Sundays at 10:00 AM on his scheduled weekends.

On first Friday nights, Fernando Russek, takes on the job of Gabbai; that is, the person who is in charge of conducting services when the Rabbi is not in town.  Mr. Russek’s schedule for 2016-2017 (Jewish year 5777) is as follows and it is subject to change. These services are announced to begin at different hours of the evening depending on the season and when it gets dark.
