Jewish Visitors

Temple Beth Israel is home to many families throughout the Valley; however, it is also a place of prayer to many visitors who are staying in the area for an extended period of time, such as our Winter Texans, and those who are just passing by for a weekend.

Our Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat service times are located on this page.  Please be aware that we do not have services every week.

Whether you come from an Orthodox, Conservative, or Reform background, you are welcome to visit us and take part in our services.  Our prayer book has both Hebrew and English prayers, and you may find a seat anywhere you wish in our temple.

Sometimes, we will like to give the honor to our Jewish visitors to participate in the services by lighting the Kabbalat Shabbat candles, or having an aliyah if you will form part of our minyan during our Shabbat services. As always, you are welcome to choose to participate or to decline the invitation.
